Terms of Service & Workmanship Guarantee

The following outlines the terms under which Artistica Surfaces provides its services, including our workmanship guarantee.
About these terms
These terms apply to the supply of decorative surface finishing services by Artistica Surfaces (“we”, “us”, “our”) across Melbourne and Victoria. By engaging us or accepting a quote, you agree to these terms. Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Quotes & engagement
All quotes and site consultations are complimentary and based on the information, drawings and site conditions available at the time. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Work is scheduled once a quote is accepted in writing and any agreed deposit is received.
Workmanship guarantee
We stand behind our work. Our applications are backed by a workmanship guarantee covering defects in our application under normal use and conditions. The guarantee does not cover damage from structural movement, water ingress from other building elements, third-party damage, inadequate substrates we advised against, or normal wear. Raise any workmanship concern with us promptly so we can inspect and remedy it.
Substrate & site conditions
A quality finish depends on a sound, prepared substrate. Where the substrate, moisture levels or site conditions fall outside the agreed scope, additional preparation may be required and quoted separately. We will advise you before proceeding with any variation.
Variations
Any change to the agreed scope, materials, colours or finishes may affect pricing and timelines. Variations will be documented and agreed before the additional work proceeds.
Payment terms
Payment schedules — including any deposit and progress or completion payments — are set out in your quote. Invoices are payable by the due date stated. We reserve the right to pause work where payments are overdue.
Timelines
We make every effort to meet agreed schedules and coordinate with other trades. Timelines may be affected by site readiness, weather, curing times and matters beyond our control. We will keep you informed of any changes.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to re-performing the affected services or refunding the amount paid for them. Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
